Try PolyChoke/Cutts Compensator. Also, High Standard, Winchester, Savage and Stevens made guns for JC Higgins(Sears). I went on "Yahoo" & typed in "High Standard Shotguns" and there is a wealth of information regarding this. High Standard made shotguns as well as pistols for Sears. This site will give you approximate dates of manufacture. If you want to talk about this more, feel free to contact me via e-mail at mdl12sx1@sbcglobal.net. What you probably have is a Power Pac made by Pachmayr for Sears. I have one as well. A web site that sells these is www.corsonsbarrels.com/powerpacchokes.htm. They are also sometimes listed by Numrich Gun Parts www.e-gunparts.com/. The word is that you should not fire plastic wads through these, which rules out most modern ammo. The wad could expand in the gap between the end of the barrel and the forcing cone of the choke tube. Not a good thing! Be sure that you get tubes made for the Higgins/Sears Power Pac as they are a different size than Pachmayr ones. Also please check your J.C.Higgins for recalls, some are unsafe to shoot.
A: There is no reason if the source is stable
If you are talking about the electrode in proximity to the extractor, it prevents stray low energy electrons from entering and disrupting the space charge balance in that region.
commonly with a single dc power source to isolate ac loads from other parts of the circuits. in dc power supplies to remove ripple
An AC drive is a device use for control AC motor speed, also knows as variable frequency drive, a reactor in an AC circuit is basically an inductor which will filter spikes in source voltage.and AC chokes are typically used as the inductive components in electronic filters. - roxas_riku
Connect the line to a source that is above the throttle body on the carb. It should be a source that has no vacuum at idle.
I don't know but you can search the title on line. Some source will have the composer.
Best source would be old gun catalogs and magazines.
Stock or Grip, Hammer, Trigger, Breech, Rail, Barrel, Sights, BB and power source.
Check your local yellow pages for a gunsmith. He will have a source to order a new barrel. You could also try contacting the manufacturer at www.savagearms.com
Assuming your shotgun has two triggers, you can fire either first. If you have one trigger, the order of fire can vary massively...use a gauge to check the bore on your gun, If you don't have one just use a coin and see how far it will go down the front of the barrel, or make a target out of cardboard to see which barrel is the more open barrel, by patterning the barrels. once you know which barrel is the the more open choke, you are ready to determine which barrel you want to shoot first, and as a quail hunter on the rise you will usually shoot the barrel with the more open choke first, saving the tighter choked barrel , as the game gets farther away. Lights when the gas flow is small and only then adjust the flow from the source as desired. Also adjust the burner with the rotating the barrel.
