"Green" is an umbrella term for all shades of green. "Kelly Green" is a specific shade of green with a slight yellow undertone.
Since green is a secondary color, mixing it with any color would make a tertiary color. But red and green are complimentary colors and therefore would make a brown-black color. So blue, green and red mixed together would make and ugly brown color that's tinted with blue.
The saying is "If a blue house is made of blue bricks and a red house is made of red bricks what is a green house made of?" Well it is made out of glass. A lot of people think it would be made out of green bricks because if a blue house is made of BLUE BRICKS and a red house is made of GREEN BRICKS it only makes since that it would be green bricks.
