WordPad is a very basic word processor and so it does not have all the facilities that a standard word processor has. One of the facilities it does not have is a spell checker. So you cannot check spellings in it.

No. WordPad in Windows has no Spellcheck feature.

There are however 3rd party addons that can be used to add the Spellcheck feature to WordPad and/or other applications on Windows.

No. But it is fairly easy to paste your text into a program such as Word or onto web pages (such as this one) that can check spelling without having to actually post anything.
