ick clear or algae clear
I think the treatment is tetracycline hydracloride but ask an aquarium expert at your pet store before buying it. there are plenty of Ick cures out there.
once treated and cured a fish can live a normal life span
If your goldfish has Ick you will need to treat its water with some commercial cure. Just follow the directions. Before you do the treatment though, may I suggest you do a large water change, keep the filter ON all through the treatment and follow the instructions to the letter. Ick/Ich/white spot is a killer parasite and has to be fixed quickly before it kills every fish in the tank.
I used to have fish and I think that's called Ich (pronounced ick). It can be treated with a medication available at the pet store.
that is mostly a sign of a common disease known as ick [ tiny white spots on the body if not treated soon fish will die occasionally. ] treatment for this is ick away, ick guard, or something that has to do along the lines of that. if you need help ask someone at the pet store the might be able to tell you. but however there is other common disease that can cause that. im not sure what can but the only one that i know of is ick.
Speh-sif-ick Spuh-sif-ick Spih-sif-ick Like tomato and potato- they can be pronounced different ways.
I wouldn't think so since ick is a scale sickness and you don't have scales. My fish once had ick (their better now) and I didn't get sick with ick. but maybe you should ask an employee at a pet store.

Yes, ick is highly contagious. Fish get it when they are stressed out, depressed, and/or weak. Ick is believed to be in water already. It spreads very quickly from one fish to another and you have to treat it right away. To treat ick, take the infected fish to a vet or use a home remedy such as salt or heat.
