yeah, use a car lift. Its nay impossible to pull that tranny out while on your back. Then putting it back on is just simply impossible. Don't get me wrong it is possible and people do it, ive done it, it took about 2 hrs while on the lift and about 3 days while on jack stands.

That's pretty much a given with changing any clutch or torque converter.
Bad transmission? Bad Clutch?
Nissan J-Matic Dexron 3 is also specified
Either your clutch is stuck or your synchro mesh and or bushings have gone out. you need to have your tranny serviced
Follow the bottom hose of the radiator to the block. Where the hose enters is the location. Changing this has been answered.
If you turn the ignition to the on position, and then press the interlock button, you don't have to press the clutch pedal down to start the truck.
1. Remove clutch pedal assembly from car. 2. Remove fulcrum bolt. 3. Install clutch assist spring. 4. Align fulcrum (say, with a screwdriver tip). 5. Insert fulcrum bolt. 6. Reinstall clutch pedal assembly.
how do you remove the fan clutch on a 1992 318i 1.8 liter?
you might have put the clutch in backward........
Clutch repair for a 1992 Sierra will depend on the problem. Clutch systems consist of the clutch, pressure plate and a master and slave cylinder. These parts are not repairable, and the part that has failed will have to be replaced.
your clutch may be slipping ,first check and see if your clutch slave cylinder is leaking, check your clutch master cylinder to see if your fluid level is ok.if level is ok and no leaking slave cylinder, then you probaly need a new cluch.
You have a hydraulic clutch, most if not all of this type do not have an adjustment. Most likely suspect is the slave cylindar on the transmission. That or the master cylindar, but the slave is more likely. Put a repair kit in or replace slave cylindar. Neither is very costly.
