go to one town (i recommend Hearthome) and use fly. Keep flying to the town your in (eg. if you are in hearthome, fly to hearthome) then walk a few steps and wait for their location to change on the Marking Map. If it isn't near you, use fly again.

Find a boundary between a route and a town that causes the Pokemon to change location and step back and forth over it until it is in an area near you. Going north or south from Solocean is good or north from sandgem.
