One Christian thought:

Not that I'm aware of. Tithing is not a Christian commandment, and was mainly introduced with the Mosaic Law to the Nation of Israel, alone, expressly for the support of the Leviites, or temple workers(Leviticus 27:30-32; Numbers 18:21+24), Aaronic priesthood (Numbers 18:25-29), the needs of the people during festival times (Deuteronomy 12:4-7,11,17,18, Deuteronomy 14:22-27) and to help those of the Nation of Israel in need (Deuteronomy 14:28,29 + Deuteronomy 26:12).

When Jesus died, he ended the Law Covenant(Colossians 2:13+14)(Galatians 3:13) and so, tithing.

What verse in the bible says people may sit down while praising God?

I don't remember any Bible verse like that, but what does it matter how you are, sitting down or lying down or standing up? To praise the Lord is the main thing.

What should one do with their tithe while between churches?

Tithing is not a part of New Testament Christianity. Nowhere in the Bible are Christians commanded to tithe. Tithing was replaced with giving. Now if you want to give money you can do so. The money you give can go to anything or anyone. Your giving is not limited to the church. And you don't have to give 10 percent. You can give more or less based on how the Spirit directs you to give.Your Tithe Experthttp:/www.thetithinghoax.com

What bible verse describes God rewarding last and Satan rewarding first?

There is no specific Bible verse that directly describes God rewarding last and Satan rewarding first. The Bible generally teaches that those who follow God's ways and remain faithful will be rewarded in the end, while those who oppose God will face consequences. This is seen in passages such as Matthew 20:16 which mentions the idea of the first being last and the last being first in the context of God's kingdom.

The Bible teaches that those who are rightous will meet Jesus in the air. Jesus will come down from heaven, while the rightous will rose up to meet Him. As far as I know, no such religion teaches the belief that you will be taken to heaven by your hair.

What verse in proverb every tub stand on it bottom?

It is simply not in the Bible. Some say it is in 'Pilgrim's Progress' by John Bunyon while others attributed to a playright Charles Macklin credit for it. Basically, it means we all are to be responsible for ourselves. In this sense, there are several Bible parables that can be associated with this thought.

If you mean storywise, it was when he was sent by his father Jacob to check on his brothers while they were with their sheep. If you mean otherwise, it's found in Genesis 37, verse 12 onwards.

How much is an offering if 10 percent is tithe?

An offering is something over and above the tithe, for those who consider the tithe obligatory, although there are different opinions among Christians as to the obligatory nature of the tithe since it is not mentioned as such in the New Testament. For some who do not believe the tithe obligatory, an offering would be another name for the tithe. In any case, an offering is an indefinite amount whereas the tithe is 10%. So there can be no answer to what the offering may be. Remember Jesus praised the poor widow who gave all she had, even though it was a ''mite'' the smallest possible coin of those days, while He was not complimentary to others who put in large amounts when their heart was not right in terms of motive. So, firstly, one's heart should be right about how to give and then any amount can be given at any time. Most importantly, as outlined in the New Testament God wants our whole heart first as a ''living sacrifice'' or offering to Him.

What is a life verse?

A "life verse" is a passage or verse of scripture from the Holy Bible that God has used to strengthen, encourage, and direct your life. While there are numerous scriptures from which to choose, generally, a "life verse" is both a source of encouragement and a challenge by which to live ones Christan life. It is a passage of scripture to which a believer in Christ clings and stands upon in and out of season. It is not necessarily a statement of faith - but it can be. Most will say that it is a scripture passage that the LORD Himself gave to the person for their circumstance or life. Generally, its is not something that is sought out per say (e.g. "I'm going to search the Bible to find a life verse"), rather, it is something that the LORD affirms in your heart and spirit through a repeated theme or over a season of time. It is affirmed through daily study of God's Word and through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Without those essentials, a "life verse" if futile.
