Are you talking about the Pass-Key system? because the only real way to bypass it is to put in a new ignition.

You will need a wiring diagram for the 400 ignition. There will need to be switches connected for start, run and shutoff functions, or the wiring will end up touching each other and shorting out. The diagram will be in a Suzuki 400 service manual.
It doesn't have one, it has a switch on the clutch pedal. It also has an interlock switch on the dash, turn the ignition switch on and press the interlock switch and it will bypass the clutch switch.
get the key and insert said key to ignition, once inserted turn ignition to the right and BAMM your on your way.
