Yes you can, generally, depending on the number of photos and the size of the card. You might even be able to get the camera to read them and display them on its screen as well, depending on the camera, the format of the files, and any folders on the memory card.

If the camera is TWAIN-based, you might not be able to do this, but if it is FAT-based, you can. If your camera or its memory card show up in Windows as a drive letter, then you can copy into it from Windows just like it is another hard drive. Just go to My Computer (or just Computer in Windows 7 and maybe Vista) and see if a drive letter shows up for your camera or its memory card (if you have a card reader).

How do you put pictures on to your memory card if it has internal memory?

Cameras will typically prefer to store pictures on a memory card if one is present inside of the device. However, if a memory card isn't present, it will attempt to use any available internal storage. Transferring files from the internal memory to a memory card will be different and may not even be easy to do (it all depends on your camera). One thing you can do, if the files are stored on your internal memory, is to remove any memory cards that exist, and plug the camera into the computer with the camera power ON. The camera will usually show up as a drive under 'My Computer', and you can then move the files from your camera onto your computer. Once you are done, you can then try to power the camera off, insert a memory card into it. And then power it on. You may be able to move files onto your memory card this way. If your computer has a memory card slot, you can also just insert the memory card into the slot and move pictures onto it that way.

If you take the memory card out of a camera will there still be pictures on the camera?

Why would you not be able to develop pictures from a memory card if you can see the images on your computer and camera?

Some cameras require that you save the picture to the card. If you don't save them the picture can be seen in the camera or even if the camera is plugged in to the computer.

Want to use memory card to upload pictures to computer?

You have to have the link cable from the camera to the computer, or have a card reader linked to the computer. Many computers now have a SD card reader built-in.

Can I transfer pictures from my computer to my memory card using a memory card reader?

You can use a via memory card reader. There are two important points define the memory card readers; the first is the type of memory card the digital camera uses for storing images. Secondly, the type of connection the digital camera has with the computer. USB is the most predominant kind of card reader available in today's world. In some cases, many computers are equipped with certain slots that take in cards directly inside the computer or may be with the help of a PC card adapter too. Is it possible to transfer pictures from a computer to a digital camera?

Yes, if your computer has a memory card reader that your particular memory card will fit into and work with. The card reader will allow your computer to read and write to the memory card as though it were any other disk drive, and you can even use the same Windows Explorer to do so.
