Is there an Answers.com site for kids?

No, there is not an Answers.com website specifically for kids. Answers.com (and WikiAnswers) are for people of all ages.

There are, however, some categories on WikiAnswers that are not suitable for younger kids (kids under 11 years old). The use of WikiAnswers should be supervised for younger and more vulnerable people.

It's safe for kids if their parent or guardian watches them to make sure they're safe. The reason why is because we don't want kids to see inappropriate stuff like bad words. Some kids don't know it's a bad word and they might say it. It's best to have people ages 13 and older.

Well it depends. if you show you are a certain age, the answerers will maybe treat you better explain it better. ex: lets say you were asking about Spiders "Where do spiders webs come from and what is it made from?" if you do "for my fourth grade project on spiders where do spiders webs come from?" they will put it in a way you would be used to.

So i recomend that the child be mature and know everything, so have had the talks and know things which you would need.

There are very less bad words on wikianswers...catergory supervisors will take care of the vendols.

Well, actually WikiAnswers isn't just for adults. You can still ask questions that children might want to know and it will most likely come up. You shouldn't worry about if your kid should or shouldn't be on WikiAnswers because people usually don't swear or use bad language unless you ask a silly question because people will probably answer it rudely.
