yes. In the iTunes store there is a free app called whistle. It is free and it has no cost to call anywhere in the USA. To call any where out of the US, it is $0.2 or $0.3 cents a minute. It is a very good app. If you have an iTouch 4, you can use the build in speaker, if you have an earlier version, you will need headphones with a mic, or a bluetooth. People can also call you at your number and your iPod should ring. The only thing I dont like about this app is that it needs wifi to work, so your only have about 62% coverage. Other than that, the app is great.
