no. the trunk and saddle bag are bolted to a sub frame that is attached to the main frame of the bike, not to mention the wiring harness for the tail lights and other connectors. theres alot more there than you can see.

Remove the back seat.
Key or remove the rear seats for access
To change the brake light bulb on a 1999 Honda Passport find the light housing located in the trunk. Find the plastic covers for the lights and remove them. Pull the bulbs out carefully and replace them.

If you can not remove fasteners from outside of trunk you must make a cut-out inside of trunk so you can get your hand to access bulbs.
You have to go in from the trunk and work upside down.
remove trunk liner inside trunk, twist plastic retainer and lightly pull
you open the trunk and pull back the liner you will see a few blots remove the blots and the light should come right out.
From inside the trunk pull back the carpet and get access to the tailight assembly. Remove the fasteners on the tailights then unscrew the bulbs and replace.
In trunk remove thumb screw, bend back paneling, remove 3 thumb screws and pull out whole tail light fixture. Now you can replace bulb(s).
In the trunk, remove the back panel by unscrewing the four plastic knobs on the roof of the trunk, there is the entire fuse box for the vehicle
