Basic commands not only teach helpful skills, they reinforce your role as your dog's leader. Using treats to lure your dog into the correct position or place, and then to reward her for obeying, is one of the easiest and most dog-friendly methods.
Have your pup lie down. Then take a treat and wave it in front of his nose until you have his full attention. Move the treat down the dog's body toward his front legs, then over his body toward his back. Move slowly enough for his nose to follow the treat. As your pup rolls over onto his side and back, keep moving the food lure so that he rolls completely over into the down position once more.
See the links below for more information.
Make it lay down on its side. Tuck a treat under its side, but make sure that you can still see it, but that it's still tucked under the dog. (Be sure that you don't tuck the treat under the dog's stomach, because the dog will be able to just wiggle and get the treat.) Make sure that the dog knows that you just tucked a treat under it. When the dog starts to roll over, stop it, then three seconds afterward, tell the dog to roll over. Do that a few times and your dog will be rolling all over the place.
You take a treat, and get them to lay on there side or on there stomach, then you hold the treat just out of reach so they can sniff at it but not take, then you slowly move it so they have to twist there head over slightly to get it eventually they will roll over when they do, say roll over and reward them with the treat soon they will learn to do it on command
ok, this can be really hard for some dogs, one of mine just absolutley will not do it.
But here is how I've trained my other dogs
using a favorite treat (cooked chicken is nice, and not to greasy) tell the dog to lie down (have you taught this yet?)
then bring the treat around so it guides the dogs head to look over its sholder, then move then treat over it's back, it may take a few times before they will even role onto their back but don't give up.
Also alot of dogs will try to stand up, so you may want to keep a hand with light pressure near the dogs sholders to keep it from doing that.
hope fully this made sense, if not tell me and I'll try to re-explain :)
say roll over to him or her, OR you roll over and your dog will do it too.
simple, huh?
You show them by doing it yourself.Just like teaching them to shake paws
You would teach a yorkie like you would teach any other.
Rabbits are not very smart, and are not social. It may not be possible.
It depends. A "Golden Lab" is actually a mix between a goldren retreiver and a labrador retreiver. Prices for them can vary, as anything, but between 400-600 is average. As far as "Yellow Lab", which is a labrador retreiver, that dog is a pure bread and could go for 400-800. I would recommend going on petfinder.com It has dogs all over the country, including puppies!, that need good homes. We are in the process of getting a golden/lab mix 8 week-old puppy from there for $400 in adoption fees - definitely worth it! Good luck!
Very smart. They are golden retreiver/poodle mixes, and golden retreivers and poodles are among the smartest breeds of all, so yes they are very intelligent. I own a goldendoodle and she was very easy to train and learned very quickly. By the time she was 3 months old she already knew the commands "sit" "stay" "lie down" and "leave it." Now, at eighteen months old, she knows "touch" "bow" "roll over" and "jump" (through a hoop) in addition to those.
Get over it. Life is not easy and your parents are trying to teach you about life. Sometimes we don't get everything we want or do what we want so we cry.
Yes. You have to teach them with food as a reward. It takes repetition to teach a mouse a trick. Over and over and over again.
I've always said "Over Easy", because you want to flip them over easy so you don't break the yolks. Yeah and there is over medium and over hard too.
Either or, but most people call them over easy
You should train your Pokemon over level 50 and teach it good moves. The elite four are actually quite easy but Lance is your toughest guy to beat.
