Yes, there is one episode I can think of. I believe it's season 6. Carter & Lucy are both stabbed by a patient. Lucy eventually ends up dying and Carter's kidney gets damaged, but he manages to survive.
If you can move it and walk on it take an aspirin and rest. If it is in extreme pain and cant move it go to the ER.
Rough ER has Ribosomes and Smooth ER does not.
The difference between ruff ER and smooth ER is ruff ER contains attached ribosomes giving it the rough appearance, where as smooth ER does not.
It is usually referred to as by its acronym, ER.
Smooth ER, endoplasmic reticulum, does not have ribosomes, and Rough ER does.rough er is studded with ribosomes while smooth er is not.

Noah Wyle (Dr. John Truman Carter III) was the last one who left. His last episode as a regular was season 11's finale "The Show Must Go On" (May 19, 2005).
Doug Ross did not date Carol Hathaway on ER. Carol was actually in a romantic relationship with Mark Greene.
Doug Ross saves the boy in ER season 2 Episode 7, Hell and High Water. Most amazing episode over. It made me understand why Harper cheated on Carter.
