AT&T: If you are using the wifi service, and not the AT&T provided internet service, then you should not incur any charges.
The 3.0 iPhone update supports MMS, but the service is not yet supported by AT&T. AT&T has announced that it will launch the long-awaited MMS service starting on September 25, 2009.
No, you do not need an AT&T service for the iPod Touch. The iPod Touch is like any other iPod, and does not need a phone service.
you call 611 and follow the instructions. there is no text service yet.
A basic phone service from AT&T basically gives you local phone service. You have to pay for any other calls you make on top of the fee for basic service.
no he doesn´t, not yet anyway :D
T-mobile offers this service on-line, not sure as of yet if it is available in store. Probably not.
You can't get a T Mobile service on a phone that's not T Mobile unless you get it unlocked. Once the phone is unlocked, you can use your T Mobile SIM card on it or any other GSM SIM cards worldwide.
I subscribed to AT&T a couple of months ago and I shall say yes they have a good internet service. So far for a couple of months I did not experience any interruptions and any problems when it comes to my internet.
That is a free service for the new T-Mobile "Cel-Fi" signal booster. It is a required service to use any signal booster, once again, it is a $0/month charge. You can remove the service, however, there are no benefits of removing it. By keeping the service you can connect to any Cel-Fi resulting in better service.
I would look at T-mobile's prepaid service. Its available at most wal mart and T-mobile stores. They offer the best rates for any prepaid service.
