It already has. In both book and musical form. In the 90s Andrew Lloyd Webber helped Frederick Forsyth write "The Phantom of Manhattan". The books did not do well at all with phans and many people regard as one of the worst Phantom "adaptations" ever written. on March 9th, 2010, a new show called Love Never Dies premiered at the Adelphi Theatre in London. The show was also written by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and is very loosely based on "Phantom of Manhattan". However, there have been many mixed feelings towards the show. Many faithful followers think the show is brilliant, while many phans still think the show is utter rubbish. Love Never Dies has also gotten many really good reviews, and yet many reviews by disappointed critics about how it's a let down. With all this negativity, the show has under gone changes. Some people who hate it think it's much better now, but there are still many people who want to see it close. With this, the show is still needing to sell discounted tickets in order to draw in people. Love Never Dies is currently only performing in it London. It will soon open in Australia, Toronto has plans of performing it, and Broadway is currently postponed.
If Love Never dies is a success on stage both, London, Broadway, it could become a movie sequel to 2004 Phantom of the Opera.
It depends on Andrew Lloyd Webber's current play Love Never Dies. If this play is a huge success, then there is a strong chance there will be a second movie of the Phantom of the Opera.
The original Phantom of the Opera had come out in 1925 with Lon Chaney. Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera 1986 on London Stage with Michael Crawford and Sarah Brightman.
It's set 10 years after all the drama in the phantom of the opera and the phantom owns some kind of carnival. he somehow gets Christine to come to his new opera house he has built but she doesnt know it was her angel. by now ahe is already married to raoul and has a son named gustave. but...who is the father??
I think the removal of the Phantom's mask ruin everything for the Phantom to get near Christine again. His face frighten Christine. Phantom was furious thinking she was a prying Pandora wanting to see his face behind his mask.
It is true. On page 167, Erik and Christine are face to face, and Christine states, "In five years I will tell him the truth. That you are his real father. And he will choose. If he can accept this, that Raoul has been everything for him that a father can be, and done everhthing for him that a father can do, and yet is not his real parent - then he will come to you with my blessing."
The next season will come January 5th
