There are many types of programming programs:

(NOTE: IT'S BETTER TO KNOW A LOT ABOUT ONE PROGRAM ( or in this field called language) THAN TO KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT MANY)

Microsoft Visual Basic: It allows you to make simple games and programs and is the easiest one to learn ; it can be learned in collages or through internet tutorials.

Microsoft Visual C#: It can be used to make more complicated games, but is harder to learn.

Microsoft Visual C++: It's used to make the most complicated games, like GTA, PES, and Call of Duty, but is the hardest one to learn

NOTE: all of these programs can be downloaded for free from Internet, but you need to register them within 30 days so that you can use it for unlimited time; the activation codes are also free
