Your telephone is most likely locked for a single simcard.
SIM means Subscriber Identity Module.
Some mobile phones use SIM cards, other don't. The phones with SIM card slot allow the user to change the SIM; this way you can change the telephone number, or you can log to different networks (providers). SIM cards have not any alternative solutions.
Without a sim card a phone will not be able to cornet to a telephone network. The sim card identifies you/your phone to the network provider, provides you with your telephone's unique number (so people can call you) and links you to your account so that you can be charged for the use you make of the telephone network.
Yes you still can by checking your message from a landline
Well, the sim card works just like any other sim card in a CINGULAR phone, but if you have the unlock codes to your other phone, I'm sure it will work.
Invite someone over using the telephone and if they accept the invite then touch them and choose actions and click 'ask to move in' . This works best if you are partners with this sim.
When you get a sim card, it has it's own unique telephone number on it. When you insert the sim card you have that number. You can however get a code and keep your existing number and use it with a new sim card.
It just works.
Sim cards in telephone can indeed short out if they are in a telephone that gets wet. If a phone gets wet, shut it off immediately, remove the battery if possible and remove the Sim and SD cards.
there is no sim card for this phone. you just activate it and it works
No. That job is just like any other job and you wont die from it however if your sim works too hard you will get strain which makes the sim unhappy.
