i think if you just let it take its course and take it to a vet your piggy should be good. make sure it is drinking so it does not get dehydrated
It could be because they've eaten something that they're not meant to have. diarrhoea can be quite dangerous for guinea pigs. one of my gpigs had it when she'd eatin a bit of silver beet once.. but after a week or so she got better. Otherwise it could be a problem with the guinea pig, and i suggest taking it to a vet to check it out. =]

If you have diarrhea it is best to avoid eating fruit, dried fruit, and drinking fruit juice, however, eating bananas and applesauce may actually help control the diarrhea. Whatever you do resist the temptation to feed it alot of lettuce or any other fruits and vegetables. It will get severe diarrhea which can be fatal. There is no reason a domestic guinea pig would get scurvy. Stick with feeding it pellet food and give it lettuce once a week.
