Upfront, it may seem that lice do not have a purpose in this world. All they do is suck blood, lay eggs, hop from head to head, make people scratch themselves, get embarrassed and spur the question " Do lice have a purpose in the world" . Looking deeper, lice help people keep themselves and their surroundings clean, provide employment to hundreds of people who work in areas of medicine, cosmetics, advertising, modeling and of course comb making while inspiring certain people to wrack their brains and come up with an answer for the question " Do lice have a purpose in the world".
Really? Studies show Lice is more attracted to clean hair, so no matter how many times you wash your hair or how clean it is, your chances of contracting it are still the same as a person with dirty hair. And yes, people do spend time figuring out ways to kill lice and come out with many products to do so, it's not exactly a high traffic occupation, so if head lice were to be completely destroyed from the face of the earth i don't think it was be to traumatizing for the poor lame hair doctors who spend their lives looking at useless bugs under a microscope.
