The chemical reaction is:2 K + I2 = 2 KI
In the presence of sulphuric acid (H2SO4), KI produces HI Since is an oxidizing agent, it oxidizes HI (produced in the reaction to I2). As a result, the reaction between alcohol and HI to produce alkyl iodide cannot occur. Therefore, sulphuric acid is not used during the reaction of alcohols with KI. Instead, a non-oxidizing acid such as H3PO4 is used.
well its because nak75321 is not compatible with KI. sorry for any inconvenience :)
Potassium iodide and lead nitrate produces lead iodide and potassium nitrate its a Precipitation Reactions. 2KI+Pb(NO3)2-->PbI2 + 2KNO3
mainu ki pata es da ans
The chemical reaction is:2 K + I2 = 2 KI
the reaction between bleach anb potassium iodide is KI+NaCl2--->KCl2+NaI
Cl2+KI=

The reaction is:Cl2 + 2 Ki = 2 KCl + I2
Without knowing what the actual reaction is, there is no way to tell what effect increasing the concentration of KI will have. The reaction could have a rate limiting step.
yhujuhj
The reaction is the following:2 KI + Pb(NO3)2 = PbI2 + 2 KNO3Lead iodide has a beautiful yellow color.
Pb(CH3COO)2 + 2 KI = PbI2 + 2 K(CH3COO) PbI2 is an yellow precipitate.
I dont't know. Sorry.. Hahaha. Just annoying you.
a precipitate. motha nacha -.0
Cr2O72- + 6 I- + 14 H+ → 2 Cr3+ + 3 I2 + 7 H2O
