The other link is for Crochet Pattern Central, a favorite site of mine, where I can find "zillions" of free crochet patterns.Of course, there are many places where you can find this information, but I thought I would start with these sites.
To crochet gloves, I would look online for a pattern to follow. There a many, many styles and ways to crochet gloves. So look for the pattern which fits your need.I have attached my favorite place to find free patterns for all sorts of projects. This is but one place which lists places to find free patterns.
"Ask Aunt Ester" is a blog and YouTube site with video and a place to ask questions about how to crochet. The production quality of the videos is low, but the content is excellent. See link below.
It depends on what you would like to give. I would suggest looking at "crochet pattern central.com" for any pattern. _______ [previous answer was "flagged" as gibberish, due to the website URL being given, rather than the name of the site] I would suggest that you take a look in the Crochet Pattern Central website and take a look around and there is a page for "Baby Items."
I found At My House, a good site with some free patterns posted. Search "atmyhouse". I think it is a yahoo group. Blessings. each yarn company has a site with free patterns. I think this depends on what you consider "nice". You didn't specify that you were looking for patterns. Are you looking for instructions for basic crochet or perhaps ones with unusual stitches, a reference site, or a site with lots of links? If you provide a bit more information it would assist in giving a better match to your specific needs.
