It is highly unlikely that Ellen White was either part black or Jewish, but even if she were, this should make absolutely no difference to anyone. If it makes a difference to the reader, he or she should think on what that says about his or her own prejudices. Would being black make her prophecies less accurate or reasonable (or more accurate, for those who don't accept her)? Would her being Jewish have any effect on her gift? Remember that Jesus himself and the apostles were Jewish. In any case, if you consider that she was born in Maine, where blacks were not common, in the early 1800s, when interracial relationships were very rare, the likelihood that she was part black seems very slim. A Jewish ancestry for her also seems doubtful.
