As is the case with so many things in life, the answer is that "it depends."
What it depends upon is how complete the collection is and what conditions the coins are in.
Few of the coins are worth more than a dollar or two even in uncirculated condition (although the 1947-52 coins could be worth $10 or more in MS-63 or better), and most are worth markedly less than a dollar.
However, there are a few key varients that can have value even in circulated condition (values from the Standard Catalog of World Coins):
1953 (with shoulder strap) - $2.50 in XF, $55 in MS-63
1954 (without shoulder strap) - $500 in MS-63
1955 (without shoulder strap) - $250 in XF, $1,800 in MS-63
1965 (Large Beads, Pointed "5") - $7.50 in XF, $35 in MS-63
1985 (Pointed "5") - $3.00 in XF, $19 in MS-63
1998W - $1.75 in MS-63
1998P - $6.00 in MS-63
2000W - $1.75 in MS-63
Proof coins (not produced every year) always have some value as well.
In circulated condition, the 1927, 1930, and 1931 may be worth a dollar or two, but the rest have little or no added value.
Well back in 1947 it was probably worth 50 cents.
Average value is 2 to 3 cents.
More information is needed. Several countries issued 25¢ coins in 1947. Please look for questions like "What is the value of a 1947 US quarter?", "... Canadian quarter?", etc.
In the future PLEASE add a description or condition of the coin so I can value it more precisely for you. Anywhere from 15 cents to $3.80.
