I don't think so. I fractured my pelvis in 4 places a year ago. It STILL hurts if I overdo it.

Chronic means having a problem a certain length of time. So, a chronic fracture means that you may have had a fracture months before you realized it and treatment began. It can also mean that your fracture is not healing in the time that the doctor thought it would.
My daughter is 11 and had stress fracture of lower arm. With wrist brace on, complete healing time was 5 weeks.
It depends upon how sewere was the facture. But mostly it takes about 6 months.
