Yes there is. Just check the amount of RAM you have and buy a RAM stick (that has the same DDR version as your motherboard, you can check by opening up your laptop). Next, open your computer cover on the underside and the mini oblong cards that you see with 4 black chips are the RAM sticks. Simply pull gently on the side prongs and pull the old stick out and place your new RAM stick into that slot.
Make sure the amount of RAM in that slot is higher than what you had before, otherwise it defeats the purpose of buying the RAM in the first place. Also, be very careful as some laptops have their RAM soldered in place, so if you don't see any RAM slots of the sort, it's probably soldered on-board.

If a computer had onboard graphics, where there is no dedicated graphics card, then the graphics chip is on the motherboard itself. In this case, it will use the system RAM for memory. This can reduce the total amount available to the system. So if you have onboard graphics (no dedicated graphics card), then a dedicated GPU(graphics processing unit) could in fact increase available RAM. However, the difference is not likely to be large. RAM is cheap. Your best option is to buy more RAM for your system.
