No
No you can not download and play PS2 games that way.
No most do not play any PS2 games and only a few old 4 USB port PS3s play any. All PS3s with 2 USB ports do not play PS2 games. Every PS3 produced after August 2008 does not play PS2 games and neither did the 40 GB models produced before then
Most of the PS3 models can not play PS2 games and are not Backward Compatible. Yes the early 4 USB ports PS3 consoles can play some PS2 games .
Only the 80 GB model CECHF01 is able to play them with backward compatibility
PS3 models with 4 USB ports play the PS2 games others do not. It was never something that could be added on when refurbished or any other way
PS2 are DVDs and if you PC does not have a DVD reader you need to add one along with PCSX2 emulator and then learn to use it. Still it will not play many game titles games and never play any like the trouble free way a PS2 does
No you can't do that your PSP disc is way small then the PS2 and PS3.
well it can go in but its not coming out the ps2 does not have enough power to play ps3 games if you want some ps3 games you have to get a ps3 if you do get a ps3 get a used 60 gb ps3 that way you can play ps2 games of ps3
You can't. After the 60GB model for the PlayStation 3 Fat they removed backwards compatibility and moved it to software based, and for the slim they removed it entirely. However you can still play Ps1 games with no problem no matter what model, but the Slim can not play Ps2 games in any way shape or form.
A PSP game is different than a PS1, PS2, or PS3 and they are all different from each other. You can not turn any of them into any other format and can only find a Game console that might let you play them. When you play a PS1 on a PS3 game console you are not changing it into a PS3 game. The same is true if your PS3 can play PS2 games, they remain PS2 games played on a PS3. There is no way of converting them into another format.
Well if you ever had a imported game work on your modded system it should work now but why import any way?
Yes you can
