No. If the battery post if missing then you will have to buy a new battery. My question to you is how is a battery post missing?
replace it just like any car battery
First connect the battery charger positive connection to the Positive post on the battery and the negative connection to any place on the engine away from the battery and not on the negative battery post. Connecting the battery charger any other way is unsafe.
any group 51 500cca battery will replace it.
Like any other car...remove wires, retainer and replace. Most places do it for free or inexpensively when you buy the battery. The battery is in the trunk.
as long as the battery fits it will work just fine
it's under the back seat. Replace it like any other battery, it's just in a weird location.
With a 12 volt battery charger. Red + connected to + post on battery. Black - connected to any metal part of the vehicle. You do not have to remove the battery from the vehicle.
Like any other auto batttery. Side post or top post.
Just like a top post battery. Connect the positive cable to that positive side post and the negative cable to any metal part of the engine. You can connect to the side post if you just try.
A regular 12 volt battery of any brand will do, but the battery should have at least 600 Cold Cranking Amps (CCA's) at a minimum as this is applicable to the engine of the heavier vehicle and engine. Any auto store will be able to tell you if it is top post or side post battery. Mike in Dallas, TX
You just need to remove the back cover, it does require using a paper clip to release the back and replace it with a watch battery. You can get a watch battery at any pharmacy.
Yes, just find connect the charger positive cable to the positive + side post terminal on the battery. Then connect the negative charger cable to any metal place on the engine. Plug the charger in and it will recharge the battery.
