There will be all the animal jobs that are available currently, in the future. These would include anything veterinary, relating to conservation, zoo work, farm, ranch, animal rights, and research.
There are history teachers in high school, college and community colleges. Museums specifically hire history majors. Of course there are many jobs that are open to any college graduate.
Career assesment tests are not generally required for government jobs. Government jobs mainly require background searches and previous knowledge and history of the job trying to obtain.

Politics has little to do with history outside the history of politics. However, any history relating to humans will contain some examples of politics or political behavior. It's the nature of the beast. The only histories that would be totally devoid of any politics would be natural history, geographic history, geological history, any history of the phsyical world really.
Since you have such a specific position you are looking for, you should go directly to the department to see if there are any jobs available. It may be difficult to get a good history professor job though.
