The only reasonable way to "stop" a mare from going into heat, is to keep her with another mare, not a gelding or stallion. having a male around even if they are cut, will encourage the mares cycles to begin. But keeping her away from males may not stop it all together, but it will at least make them less severe.
goodman 10 seer heat pump wont come on were is reset
try puting food out for your older mare and then putting food on the otherside of your pasture for your other mare

Yes, the fetus and blood etc. Sometimes the fetus die and the cramping wont start so it has to be induced.
Call the vet. There are several hormone replacement injections that can be used to convince the mare to accept her foal. If they fail, the vet can also advise you on how best to raise the foal.
of course
It's broken.
This is not the best idea, but if a mare abandons her foal, yes, you can hand raise it. You will have to bottle feed and spend most of your time with it. This is very time consuming and hard work but it is rewarding in the end. If you hand raise a foal it will come very attached to you which may cause stubborness as the foal ages.
Is it in pain? If it's a mare, is there any chance she could be pregnant?
