if the serpentine belt breaks or comes off etc. the car will over heat as the water pump wont work. also it will die eventually as the alternator wont be working, as well as no power stearing etc etc.

The ignition and fuel pump run off the same power Circe so I would look to fuses and relays first. But if there is no spark the fuel pump on most wont turn on past the prime cycle.
These heaters contain insulation that retains heat (as opposed to the newer style that reflects it back). As a result, they heat up during operation and take a long time to cool down. After using the heater, shut the heater off and let the pump run for at least 15 minutes to allow time for the heater to cool off before shutting off the pump.
to give off heat
i dont think it would be dangerous and it wont give off heat
It is generally not recommended to turn off your heat pump in extreme cold weather, as it may struggle to efficiently heat your home when turned back on. It is best to keep your heat pump running consistently to maintain a comfortable temperature and prevent potential damage from freezing temperatures.
Unless you tell us make and year of vehicle, we have no idea.
Check the heater valve and/or the controls to the valve. maybe a problem with the controls, most of them are run off of vacuum, if a hose has a hole in it, it wont work
