No you can save it to the HDD with the NXE but u still need the disk. All it does is speed up loading times. (and take up memory)
no, you need the disk
No. You still need the disk. Therefore it is pretty much pointless to download the game to your hard drive.
Well if you have it installed then just try to open it and if you cant then you would have to buy the disk
Only if you have saved it to your hard drive.
This is to prevent people from renting games and installing them on their harddrive.
Some games require that the game disk be present in the drive to play. Other games do not require this. The only way to circumvent the need for the disk to be present is to go on the internet and search around for a cheat that will allow the game to be played without the disk.
Let's say you have a PC game that requires you to have the disk. Daemon tools can make the whole disk of that game go on one file on your computer. Then Daemon tools can take that one file and put it on a virtual drive on your computer. So then you can play the PC game without the disk and copy the game.
If you are attempting to run a program like a game without the disk, then it is just telling you that it needs the .exe trigger on the disk. This way the program will run. However, if the disk is in and you get the same message, then your computer's disk drive is not reading the data on the disk and should be replaced. I don't recommend that you do this yourself unless you have studied computer sciences.
Microsoft let you install the game to your hard drive to have better quality and more faster performance in the game therefore you still need the disc
if the game is installed then click on the icon before mounting the image.... then it will say insert disk (like they always do..) mount it,,, then ur drive will probly be drive k/ and the game will be looking at F or ur regular pysical drive.. just browse for the virtual 1 and it will find the disk
To play Myst III: Exile without the disk, you can create a backup of the game files on your computer. If you have a digital version, simply install it from the platform where you purchased it. Alternatively, you might use disk emulation software to create a virtual drive that mimics the physical disk. However, ensure you own a legitimate copy of the game, as piracy is illegal.
A circular scratch on a game disk most often comes from a defective disk drive. It usually means that whatever device read the disk had an ojbect stuck in the disk drive that did not belong there or that the drive is not perfectly suspending the disk above the reader. The drive spins your disk around inside the Xbox and if something is sticking up in there or if the disk is leaning to the side and it rubs against something while spining, it will put that kind of scratch on the disk.
