Nope. Two different things entirely.
No acetaminophen is marketed as Tylenol or Paracetamol.
Aspirin and Tylenol are unrelated. You can take the full recommended dose of Tylenol (acetominophen) if you are taking a baby aspirin.
Paracetamol tablets DO NOT contain aspirin.
Yes. It's made with acetominophen and aspirin, both of which are deadly to cats.
Aspirin or (preferably) acetominophen, but find the cause of the fever first.
It could be a sprain, a fracture, or severely bruised. Apply ice packs and keep the foot elevated. If the pain or swelling gets worse, or is not better by the next morning, you need to see a doctor. X-rays will possibly be required for a proper diagnosis and treatment. Also, stay off the foot in case it is sprained, fractured, or broken. Over the counter pain medication such as aspirin or acetominophen (Tylenol) will help the pain, but unlike acetominophen, aspirin will also help reduce any swelling.
acetominophen is the generic of Tylenol
No - dogs are very sensitive to the side effects of acetominophen (and all other human medications like Tylenol, Advil, Aleve, Motrin, ibuprofen, aspirin, etc.) and you can cause a fatal stomach ulcer with these medications. If you feel your dog would benefit from pain medication, you need to make an appointment with your veterinarian. There are safe and relatively cheap drugs available for dogs to manage pain, but you will need a veterinary prescription to get them.
Dogs can take aspirin but call your vet first to see how many and when also the vet has pain medicines if this does not work. My Vet recommends liquid pediatric acetominophen, which can be given by weight, and therefore gives more accurate dosing. Also aspirin is a blood thinner, and should never be given to a dog post-operatively or to a female who has just had pups , or to one who is nursing pups.
APAP is acetominophen such as tylenol.
