there is going to be the first four (The Angel Experiment, Schools out - forever, Saving the world and other Extreme Sports, The Final Warning) then Max, Fang, and Angel so at the moment he is only making 7. Hopefully he makes more! I <3 the Maximum Ride series! :)

It is rumored that there are supposed to be 11 or 12 books in the Maximum Ride series but the author hasn't confirmed this. For the latest Maximum Ride news go to the Related Link below. i read the eight book Angel, and it says the final book is Feb 2012 so there's at least one more

I heard there'll be 21 books. I heard there was gonna be about 13 books. James Patterson has now said that there will only be 8 books.
According to rumors, there will be 12 in all, and a movie =) hope that helped
around $10 to $12.
In a way... the Maximum Ride series is based on a character in two of James Patterson's earlier books, The Lake House and When The Wind Blows, which features a girl named Max who escapes a despicable place called the School. But most of the similarities end there, considering Max is 12 in those books and 14 in the series. (She would've been 12 when Jeb disappeared.) And the fact that in When the Wind Blows, Max's wings are attached to her arms.
I've read all the books and the series are: 1.) The Angel Experiment. 2.) School's Out-Forever. 3.) Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports. 4.) The Final Warning. 5.) Max. 6.) Fang. 7.) Angel. 8.) Nevermore
Oh, dude, the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson includes books like "The Angel Experiment," "School's Out Forever," "Saving the World and Other Extreme Sports," "The Final Warning," "Max," "Fang," "Angel," "Nevermore," and "Maximum Ride Forever." But hey, who's counting, right? Just read them all if you want to follow the adventures of a group of genetically enhanced kids who can fly and save the world.
James Patterson has not released any info on it yet but probably because there a lot of things still unknown.Of course there will be a sixth maximum ride because the fifth had a unfinished ending to keep you wondering what will happen so he will make a sixth and all the way to 12 books(that's a rumor, the 12th book)
