"yes they are making a halo 4 game that is coming out sometime in late winter 2009 or in late spring of 2010. Halo 4 is a continued storyline when the flood comes back to life and tries to take over. you will be using the Master Chief and the Arbiter just like Halo 3. As you can see i said Master Chief and he is alive if you watched the alternate ending of Halo 3 after beating it on legendary. there will be tons of new maps and i think like four more weapons. I only know one for sure and that is Elite Laser which is just like the Spartan Laser except that there isn't as much charge time. And the old pistol from Halo Combat Evolved is coming back and will be called the magnum V1 and the new one from halo 2 is called the magnum V2. those are just rumors though.

Bungie do not own the rights the the character Master-Chief, Microsoft do. Bungie will not be making any more Halo games along that storyline. They will however be making games set in the Halo universe. Now Microsoft may or may not give rights to a new Halo game featuring Mr 117 himself to a games developer. They definitely will because they are money grabbing people with no soul's.

O.k. for one thing to prove that the serious will continue look at the ending on legendary.
Also look at the legendary ending for halo wars both give clues for sequels. The names may not be h4 or hw2 but they will have sequels. Money makes the world go round and men and women in big companies like to go round and round and round. A way to prove against this though is the actuall reliablilty of the ending, remember halo legendary ending it made no sense. Any ways their will be a sequel just like their will be a movie, it all just takes time. A long time.
