Well, in my opinion, there is really no answer that is 100% correct I suppose. I personally do not believe in spirits but I cannot disprove their existence. You seeing a spirit could be a manifestation created by your brain or it could be real. The way I see it, it will only affect you as much as you allow it to. People whom are stressed out end up driving themselves crazy by thinking that they are insane or have a mental defect. Basically, the mind is a powerful thing; I would brush it off the best you can and live your life. Tuck the experience into your back pocket and live my friend, who knows, it could have been real and non-malicious or something you made up unconsciously.
