In a temple.
The Temple of Pir-e-Narak is a historic Zoroastrian pilgrimage site located in Iran. It is believed to have been a sacred fire temple where Zoroastrians would come to worship and make offerings. The temple's name translates to "Old Man of Hell," likely referring to its ancient origins and significance in Zoroastrian tradition.
It is that only a Zoroastrian can visit their fire temple, they can not have a intercaste marriage and if they do they can no longer enter their fire temple. And nobody enter their fire temple.
Just like in the Temple, the men and women have separate seating areas in Orthodox synagogues (shuls) so that they can concentrate on the prayers instead of "is he/she looking at me", "look what she's wearing", etc.
