When talking about computers there is no such thing as absolute security (not counting software or solutions with that name)

  • No anti-virus software will catch 100% of viruses 100% of the time.
  • No firewall hardware or software is uncrackable.
  • Everything you do on your computer can be traced given the right equipment.

To truly protect the computer (totally impractical) you would need to :-

  • never plug it into the internet or any other network
  • Never install software on it unless recommended/supplied by an expert
  • When ever you delete something use software that will destroy the data rather than put it in your recycle bin
  • Use software to encode data on the hdd.

Things to limit security issues.

  • Have a good Anti-Virus scanner (Real time and file scanner) Do regular scans
  • Have a good Anti-Spyware scanner. Do regular scans
  • Have a good firewall (software and hardware)
  • Avoid WIFI networking or if you must use WPA2 security with a 63 random letters, numbers and punctuation characters passkey
  • Use Win NT based OS (WinNT, Win2000, WinVista or Win7) or Linux based OS
  • Avoid Porn, Warez, file sharing, kids games sites on the Internet
  • Do not do anything on your computer you don't want anyone else to see.

What is meant by absolute zero temperature?

It is the coldest temperature. Nothing is colder than absolute zero. Scientists do know what happens in absolute zero because to get it to absolute zero, they have to put the object in something colder. But like mentioned above, nothing is colder than absolute zero. It is pretty much the end of the thermometer.
