Underoath's drummer, Aaron, started a side project in 2005 called "The Almost."
Unless the drummer is playing solo, the drummer is part of a band or orchestra. So the drummer needs to follow the musical score along with the rest of the band. Playing in a band or orchestra means performing as a team.
Yes, the Beatles actually added several members to their band. Originally George was not part of the band, but still filled in as needed. After a few years he became one of the Beatles. Also, Ringo was not the Beatles' first drummer, the first drummer left the band so they let Ringo (real name Richard Starkey) join.
No one did, the drummer died so the band decided to break up.
billie joe and mike dirnt were friends since they were 10 and they loved music. OS they started a metal band at 15ish and changed to punk later on. billie joe dropped out of high school right before 17 to play music and played where his mom was a waitress with mike and a drummer under the band name Sweet Children. But the drummer wanted to go to college so they picked up another drummer, Tre cool and made sweet music. when they made the song green day they decided the name was so cool they made it their band name....the beginning of greatness (=
Let The Drummer Kick was released by "Citizen Cope" which was featured in 2006. The album name is the same as the band's name, so it's "Citizen Cope" as well.
They were in high school, around 17 or 18. It was the drummer, guitarist and rapper. There was a singer, but he left, so they got a new singer, the one that is in the band now.
I was the founder and Bass player of the New Orleans based band Nuclear Crucifixion and Darren Shallenberg was the original drummer for the band. Darren and I started the band out of another band called SEVETH. We then got Donnovan on guitar and I was good friends with Brian Patton so we started the band. In fact Glenn was not the original singer, it was not until after our first show we really knew we needed a new singer and there was Glenn. If you want to know more I can be found here. http://www.myspace.com/ionrock Dave Moran I.O.N
Kinda the lyrics are actually. I'm a drummer boy so do it I'm a drummer boy so do it
They haven't found a drummer since Jimmy The Rev died in December last year. But they have Mike Portnoy on drums on the record and on tour right now. He just left his band Dream Theater, so we'll see if he will take Jimmy's place.
Ringo Starr was first in a band called the Hurricanes, but he was a fan of the Beatles, so when the previous drummer left, he took the opportunity to replace him. The previous drummer was Pete Best, who was fired by Brian Epstein for lacking proper drumming skills.
No "Mark" from FL ever played drums in the official Steppenwolf. There were a few bogus Steppenwolf band's (imposters) floating around in the late 70s, so maybe a drummer named Mark played in one of the bogus incarnations. Steppenwolf's original drummer was Jerry Edmonton (1967-1976) followed by Steve Palmer (1980-1984), followed by Ron Hurst (1984-current). Steppenwolf officially retired from touring in 2007. However, the band has about 10-12 shows scheduled in 2009.
No, Jona Weinhofen is Straight Edge, so he can't smoke or drink, he's the guitarist in that band, Lee Malia, another guitarist in BMTH only smokes cigarettes, Matt Nicholls, drummer of the band only drinks, I'm not sure about Matt Kean, bass player. Oliver Sykes, vocalist, only smokes weed.
