In my opinion, yes. They are both good schools, but it is often said that U of M is better for getting a job. thank you for the help. Well I really dont know about it. I live in Michigan an I like both. But I say MSU!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UoM is so much better than MSU

Although it's possible to be excepted to MSU with a 2.9, it's very unlikely. I received information from MSU asking for atleast a 3.0, but if your ACT scores are higher then most, you might be excepted.
The only thing i can think of is Michigan State College It was Agricultural College of the state of Michigan 1855 to 1861 when it was changed to State Agricultural College. In 1909 it became Michigan Agricultural College, and in 1925 it was changed to Michigan State College. In 1955, it became MSU. Go Green.
