No, it is not against the law. However, most of the schools try to control and reduce the usage of cell phones. Using a cell phone during a lesson is completely unaccepable, but students may use their phones in the breaks as much as they want to, depending on school rules.

To stop these type of ill activities school stopped the usage!
Though some school allow phones but submitting it in the ofgice undrr required circumstances....

∙ 8y agoThere is absolutely no reason for any child to have their mobile (cell) phone in school. If the child falls ill - the school will have a contact number for their parent or guardian. If the child's parent (or guardian) needs to contact them during school time - they can simply phone the school, and they will pass on a message to the pupil in class.
