I have a virol bottle in front of me and to quote it says:- A preparation of bone-marrow an ideal fat food for children & invalids
you can get it at a medicine store such as walgreens or CVS if they dont have it try target/pharamcy
Ive been looking for VIROL for around 10 yrs............i took it as a child and gave it to my children , but , needing a good supplement now in old age i cant find it for sale anywhere . sorry i couldn't help
I've not found Virol since, and I've tried 'malt extract' but it's not quite the same thing. The closest in taste is Barley Malt Extract - but the Meridian brand makes no statements about vitamins...
Hi. I am researching the dietary supplement Virol that was given to adults and children in the late 1800's and have learned that it was used in cases of wasting illness such as TB or gastric ulcer, etc. It was thick and sweet, therefore very palatable. It was said to "supercede cod liver oil" in it's effectiveness in treating such illnesses. I don't know if it or anything similar is still available today; perhaps a Health Food Store would be a starting point and also pharmacists might have a good idea of a product which would be similar to Virol. Good luck! Janis My Mam used to give me it in the 1960s and/or early 70s. Remember it well. In a white tub with blue writing on.
Vitamins, malt extract and eggs, if I recall. The eggs were probably powdered egg. It was really sweet so sugar too!
We still have may of the temples made by the Aztecs.
yes there are still made
I don't know if they are being made still but i do know that there are still alot out there.
Every member of the family, including a child, had to adhere to the same ration during the week, such as 2 ounces of cheese. Children took VIROL, a malt extract, to make sure they had proper vitamins.
Yes, mood rings are still made.
