It has whey in it. The ingredients state is has glucose syrup derived from either corn or wheat. I would say it is not Gluten Free.

Caramel candy is usually (if not always) NOT gluten free. Caramel color (like in Coke) is however gluten free. I'm sure there is some brand/type that does make gluten free caramel though.

I imagine they are since they are made from only peanuts and caramel. Caramel is just melted sugar. There is no wheat in it to create gluten.

Can persons have caramel if they have celiac disease?
Yes, assuming that the caramel is only a pure mix of melted sugar and butter. Processed caramel, as you can find in stores, is not necessarily gluten-free due to additives. When inspecting store-bought caramel, look for modified food starch, which DOES have gluten in it (not always, but most often it does). You should be fine, but still always check for modified food starch.

Yes. Laura's Bistro in Plano at 75 and Parker Road. This restaurant is entirely gluten free. Try the California club or the Ruben. They're delicious. The cupcakes and the caramel cake on Saturdays are also wonderful.

Yes some do. But Hershey's strawberry, caramel, and chocolate syrup are claimed to be gluten free basing on there website. But if you are highly sensitive with Celiac Disease I would stay away from it.
