There have been many complaints.
What's happening is going on all over the nation. An "agency" tells you that you or your kid has what it takes, and that if you sign up with them, they'll make you or your kid a star.
Trouble is, you then have to pay them large amounts of money for registering, for accessing their site and their photographer. You are unlikely to get any jobs as a result of spending all this money - anywhere from $800 on up into the thousands.
Here is the real deal. If you or your kid truly has what it takes to be a model, a reputable agency will sign you on for free, and take a percent of any jobs they actually get for you or your kid.
Remember - NEVER pay to work!
