neither are CDs. PS3 is a Blue ray disc and is better than a dual layer DVD used by Xbox 360 unless you simply judge by which is cheaper instead of more advanced technologically. Because for Microsoft they have saved a bundle of money by putting Double Layer DVD drives in the 60 million Xbox 360 sold instead of the BluRay Disc drives like the PS3.
PS3 will play cds
Dvd is better than CD because the dvd can store more data than the CD
No the Drive allows for only a single disc
Yes. Of course iPods are better than CD players because iPods has lots of features.
I'm not sure a PS3 game will even fit on a CD. The PS3 will play Cds and DVDs but the games are on Blu-Ray Discs
no
No a PS3 can read a CD DVD or Blu Ray disc and can not write or change a disc of any kind
No you are not able to play pirated PS2 CD's in a Sony PS3. There are some PS3's that are backwards compatible and can play PS2 games.
PS3s play only PS3 games unless they say they will play others. For example most say that they will play select PlayStation titles and most say they will not play PS2 games right on the box it was shipped in. PS1 used the CD format and PS2 did not use a CD and instead used a DVD format disc. The only PS3 that said they could play PS2 games were the old PS3 consoles with 4 USB ports
Definately, Yes.
That is not something that you can do with a PS3. Discs are not uploaded into the harddrive of a PS3
A PS3 can play PS3 games and some Playstation games
