No. A "sissy" in this sense is a epithet meaning "effeminate" or "cowardly." We are long past the primitive notions that physical prowess is the definition of masculinty or that women are the "weaker sex." There is no special shame in being beaten by a person who happens to be a female. And there is no shame in losing a fight, only in ducking one out of cowardice - and even this need not apply instances of physical violence. The principle is that you do not engage in violence unless you truly have no choice, such as in cases of self-defense when being assualted. Those who give way to violence in the face of provocation are weak.
If your girlfriend is an intelligent, well-adjusted person she will understand the situation. If she isn't, you are better off without her.
