Does poo go down the toilet or the sink?

It goes down the toilet but if you go in the sink it goes down the drain.

Why does the toilet bubble up when you turn on the water in the sink next to it?

It's possible that you have a blockage, on the toilet line and the water is coming up in the tub to alleviate pressure. Or, your vent may be clogged causing what is called back syphonage, causing the water not to push out.

Can a toilet be installed where you currently have a sink?

the sink drain is prob.in the wall.you would have to get a wall mount commode,or install drain in floor and plug drain in wallAnswerYou also need a 3 or 4 inch drainpipe.Ans 3 - You can do this if you fit a new 3" drain to the main pipe and run it to a toilet flange where the sink is.

What is wrong if the sink and the bathtub will drain but the toilet wont flush?

The toilet itself is plugged or the pipe from the toilet to the drain is plugged. It may be that the tub and sink have their own drain pipe that may connect to the main away from the toilet drain. Plunge the toilet or sometimes if you fill a 5 gallon bucket with water and pour it into the toilet as fast as it will take it, that will flush out the line. It is a greater amount of water all at once an forces out what the clog is.

Kitchen sink gurgles when upstairs toilet is flushed?

You have a blockage in your main sewerline. You have a problem with your venting system. This is why some codes now require a vent within 6" of the toilet. If you will add a vvent to your main line at the toilet you will stop this. Check to make sure your vents are not clogged by a bird or bees nest first.

Does the toilet pipe lead to the same place as the kitchen sink?

In the end, yes. ANS 2 - By "the toilet pipe" -I'm going to assume you mean the drain . -The toilet drain in a small house is generally the main drain. All other drains are connected to it.

When you flush the toilet fills with water to the top then gushes down but water comes up in the sink and bathtub what causes this?

The sewer line is plugged or collasped. The sink and bathtub may drain because they drain at a slower rate. Toilet is all at once and the drain can't handle it. Water has to go somewhere so it backs up in the sink and tub.

Can I connect a sink outside to inside kitchen sink drain?

That's possible but difficult and seemingly unnecessary. Why not just lead it's drain to the garden or to perimeter drain.

Why does water continue to run in the drain near toilet and sink after the toilet has been flushed and has stopped refilling?

The discharge line (soil ) may be slightly back pitched so it takes longer to drain

Why does the bathtub drain make a noise when you flush the toilet?

The toilet and the sink both drain into the grey water waste lines. Because they are connected by piping, sound can travel through the pipes from the toilet to the sink.
