It might be a phenomenon this contributor has experienced a few times. Try looking under the keywords "sleep paralysis." I beat it by relaxing my muscles and going back to sleep. Fighting it only makes it worse.
I don't know how to answer the question. There is just a part of your brain that paralyzes your body when you are dreaming so you don't get up and move around everywhere (and as for sleep walkers, that part of your brain doesn't work too well).
If a human is paralyzed it means that the person can not feel or move the part of the body that is paralyzed. There are many different parts of the body that can be paralyzed.
Dreams of being paralyzed are most often "sleep paralysis," in which the dreamer becomes partially awake while part of the mind retains the normal sleep state that prevents one from acting out all the movements of one's dreams. See the attached link for further information on "sleep paralysis." Paralyzed means when you can not move.
The cells and systems of the body continue to work during sleep. There are changes in how they work but they remain active. For example, during sleep your body is more or less paralyzed to allow you to dream without hurting yourself. Plus, there are other changes in respiration, heart rate, brain function, etc., during sleep.
No i don't think they can. Their voice is normally paralyzed altogether.
They are both paralyzed at some part of their body. One just happens to be more paralyzed.
Paralyzed.
Yes they just can't move some part of their body.
Usually for "Random Eye Movement" its the dream-state of sleep also known as "pseudo sleep". Brain is very active but body is paralyzed and one experiences dreams... In relation to the band, I'm not sure, but the wiki page should have that.
