No. A moped cannot be written on an auto insurance policy. It would have to have a seperate motorcycle policy in order to be covered. Usually, but not always, companies that write one do not write the other. We have 3 insurance companies that write motorcycle insurance and non of the 3 offer an auto policy.
Yes. Mopeds, like all motorized vehicles require liability insurance. The cost for basic liability is about $80 a year for any size scooter, moped, or motorcycle.
moped insurance is insurance for a moped. A moped is like a small motorized scooter/bike like thing used to help transport people. Most commonly used in europe
no mopeds do not need insurance
There is no such thing as "SR22 Insurance". What is referred to as such is actually just Auto Insurance with an SR22 filing. Any liability Auto Insurance Policy or even a Full Coverage Auto Insurance Policy can have an SR22 Endorsement attached to it.
There is no Such Auto Insurance Policy. You would need a Primary Auto Insurance Policy on your own Vehicle and then an attached Umbrella Policy on top of it in order to get close to this.
you can
If the moped is power driven, you obviously require insurance policy for the same. Further, whether the moped plys in private or public road is also a factor. In the later case only, insurance policy will be required.
No, You would need cycle insurance for your moped. Homeowners insurance does not provide coverage for vehicles that are designed to operate on public roads.
It cost me about £100 a year
Sure, if your parents will want you attached to their policy, and if you are living with them.
No, PIP is only for the occupants of the vehicle.
SR22 Insurance is just auto insurance with an sr22 certificate filing attached to it. It can be just liability state minimums or you can have full coverage just like any other auto insurance policy that covers all of the mayhem that is out there (remember the All State commercials?).
