Actually, you're not supposed to have a period while pregnant... and if you do, it's time to see a doctor. Light spotting or very light periods however, can sometimes occur. But if it's a heavy flow and/or painful... it more than likely means you miscarried.

painfull for me and took 2 years to get it back and not ovulating for atleast 1 - 2 years. I have problems now because of it but every one is diffrent but on average it takes 1-2 years for a real period to regulate back to normal
